Hardback, with dustwrapper. There is a previous owner’s gift inscription written inside and the front and rear endpapers are browned. The dustwrapper has a short tear to the bottom edge of the front panel and the inside panels and flaps are a little foxed and browned. The book remains in perfectly readable condition.

First edition. Three volumes, original brown cloth. This is a well used set. There is a previous owner’s name written neatly inside each volume. There is some scattered foxing to each volume, a black mark to the corner of the text block to Volume three and other general signs of usage commensurate with their age. They remain in perfectly readable condition.

Hardback, with dustwrapper. This copy has been signed and inscribed by the author on the half title page. “For...with Good Wishes, Eudora Welty, December 6, 1981”. The dedicatee has written his name on the front free endpaper along with a short note as to how he got the book. Please note, this is not a first edition of this title. The book is in Very Good condition with some browning to the endpapers, the dustwrapper is also in Very Good condition.
