Reviews
Two Volumes, 8vo., viii, 427 pp., and iv, 379 (1) pp plus 32 pp. publisher’s catalogue. Bound in blind decorated blue cloth, a little rubbed, bumped and worn at the extemeties. Mudie’s Library labels to the front board of each volume (the corner of one label torn away). Evidence of a label (?) having been removed from the front free endpaper of Volume II otherwise the books are clean internally.
John Cam Hobhouse was a friend of Byron - indeed the first chapter opens with his visit to stay with Byron near Lake Geneva in the summer of 1816. A scarce title.
